1. Operator Information

The Crib is operated by Omed Hossaini, carrying on business as "TheCrib – plateforme sportive" (Sole proprietorship), NEQ 2281774812.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. Service Description

TheCrib is a sports team management platform used by coaches, players, parents, and team staff. Features include: roster management, event scheduling, attendance tracking, player evaluations, statistics, drill library, practice planner, tactical whiteboard, team payment collection, game checklists, advanced analytics, push notifications, parent accounts, CSV/PDF exports, multi-coach support, and AI-powered practice planning. Feature access varies by plan.

4. Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
  • Users under 18 require permission from a parent or legal guardian.
  • You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for activity under your account.
  • You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
  • You must promptly notify us about suspected unauthorized access.

5. Paid Plans, Billing, and Renewals

Certain features are only available on the Pro paid plan. Access limits are based on your active subscription and apply at the account level.

Web: subscriptions are processed by Stripe and auto-renew monthly unless canceled before the next billing cycle in account settings.

iOS: in-app purchases are processed by Apple via the App Store. iOS subscriptions are managed through Apple ID Settings. We do not have access to Apple payment information. iOS refund requests must be made directly to Apple.

Unless required by applicable law or payment platform policy, fees are non-refundable. You remain responsible for any taxes associated with your purchase.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Violate the rights of other users, teams, or third parties.
  • Post abusive, harassing, threatening, obscene, or unlawful content.
  • Attempt to probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, decompile, or compromise the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Perform injection attacks (SQL, script, command, etc.) or any other security attack.
  • Scrape, crawl, or automatically index the Service without written permission.
  • Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to access the Service or extract data.
  • Manipulate rankings, reviews, or SEO signals related to the Service.
  • Share inappropriate content with minors or otherwise endanger children.
  • Collect personal data from other users without a legal basis or consent.
  • Bypass plan gating, limits, or security controls.
  • Impersonate another person or entity.
  • Attempt to access another user's data, accounts, or teams.
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or any harmful code.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service ("User Content"). You grant us a non-exclusive license to host, process, and display User Content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of User Content, including having any required rights and permissions.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Our processing of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that we process personal information in accordance with that policy and applicable law.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service software, branding, design elements, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms do not transfer ownership rights to you.

10. Availability and Changes

We may change features, plans, limits, integrations, or pricing at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

11. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create legal risk, or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion.

11b. AI Features

The AI practice plan generator is powered by OpenAI. AI-generated outputs are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional coaching advice. You are responsible for reviewing and validating any generated content before use.

Do not submit personally identifiable information, medical data, or other sensitive information in AI prompts. We are not responsible for AI-generated content or the availability of OpenAI services.

11c. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TheCrib, its operator, employees, agents, and service providers from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your User Content; (d) your violation of third-party rights; or (e) your conduct in connection with the Service.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR REVENUE.

14. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Quebec, Canada, and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Unless otherwise required by law, disputes will be brought before competent courts in Quebec, Canada.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version and change the Last Updated date.
