Does TheCrib work for both ice hockey and ringette?+
Yes. TheCrib works for any team sport that uses a rink. The roster management, scheduling, stats, and communications features all apply. You can configure positions for your specific sport when setting up the team.
Is TheCrib priced in Canadian dollars?+
Yes. All TheCrib plans are priced in CAD. No currency conversion surprises. Stripe payments collected from your players are also in CAD and deposited directly to your Canadian bank account.
Can I track power play and penalty kill stats?+
You can track goals, assists, shots on goal, hits, and plus/minus per player per game. Specific situation stats like power play goals can be tagged when you log them. Season totals accumulate automatically.
How do line changes work inside the app?+
You build your forward lines and defence pairs in the Roster section before each game. You can save multiple line configurations and switch between them. Players see their line assignment on their home screen.
Do players and parents both get access?+
Yes. Players join the team with a free account and can see the schedule, their stats, and team communications. Parents of minor hockey players can also be added with a parent-view account that shows schedule, attendance, and payment status.
